  • 6.7 fluid ounces (200ml) freshly brewed strong hot coffee

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Banana Base: Mash the ripe banana with the sugar in a bowl until smooth with minimal lumps. Transfer this mixture to a saucepan set over low heat. Stir gently until the sugar fully dissolves and the banana mixture is heated through.
  2. Heat the Milk: Gradually pour in half of the milk into the saucepan with the banana mixture, stirring continuously until the milk starts to steam. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the cinnamon to incorporate the spice evenly.
  3. Blend the Banana Milk: Pour the hot banana milk mixture into a blender. Blend on high speed until completely smooth while slowly adding the remaining milk. This ensures a lump-free, creamy texture. If you don’t have a high-powered blender, strain the milk through a sieve to remove lumps before serving.
  4. Assemble the Drink: Divide the freshly brewed strong hot coffee evenly between two mugs. Top each with the warm, blended banana milk.
  5. Garnish and Serve: For an extra aromatic touch, dust a little cinnamon on top of each mug. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy this unique coffee experience.
