Chicken Pasta:
- 2 pounds Chicken Breasts
- 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 pound Penne Pasta
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Add the chicken, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, butter, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning into a 6-quart crock pot. Mix well.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove the cooked chicken, shred or dice it, and set aside.
- Whisk the sauce in the crock pot, then return the chicken to the pot.
- Add the uncooked pasta, stir well, cover, and cook on high for 20-30 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, cover for 5 minutes to melt the cheese, then serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the Cajun seasoning to suit your spice preference.
- For a thicker sauce, you can mix a cornstarch slurry into the crock pot towards the end of cooking.
