Ingredients
Scale
Egg Mixture
- 8 large eggs
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup half and half
Seasoning & Cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 teaspoon black pepper
- 2/3 cup grated cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat & Whisk: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add the whole milk and half and half. Whisk them together thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- Stir in Cheese and Seasoning: Add the grated cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to the egg mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the cheese and seasoning throughout.
- Prepare Baking Dish: Butter a 9-inch round baking pan thoroughly to prevent sticking and to add flavor.
- Pour & Bake: Pour the egg and cheese mixture into the prepared pan. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes. The quiche is done when the center is fully set and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the quiche to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy your savory, crustless cheese quiche warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can customize the cheese blend to your taste; try mixing different cheeses like cheddar and Swiss for varied flavor.
- To add extra veggies or meats, sauté them first to remove moisture and add them before baking.
- This quiche is naturally gluten-free since there is no crust.
- Use a non-stick or well-buttered pan to ensure easy serving.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated gently before serving.
