This Easy Layered Taco Bake is a delicious and simple twist on traditional tacos. Layers of seasoned ground beef, salsa con queso, and melted cheese sandwiched between soft flour tortillas create a flavorful and satisfying dish.

Ground Beef:
- 1 pound ground beef
Taco Seasoning:
- 1 packet taco seasoning
Water:
- As called for on the back of the seasoning packet (usually 3/4 cup water)
Salsa Con Queso:
- 1/2 cup salsa con queso
Flour Tortillas:
- 3 (8-inch) flour tortillas (soft taco size)
Mexican Cheese Blend:
- 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (divided use)
Instructions
- Brown and crumble ground beef: In a skillet, cook and crumble 1 pound of ground beef. Drain excess grease.
- Season the beef: Add 1 packet of taco seasoning and water as directed on the packet. Cook according to the seasoning instructions.
- Add salsa con queso: Once the beef is seasoned, remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of salsa con queso until well combined.
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch round baking pan.
- Layer the tortillas: Place one flour tortilla at the bottom of the pan.
- Layer the filling: Spread 1/3 of the taco meat over the tortilla, then sprinkle 1/3 of the shredded cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers: Continue layering with another tortilla, more meat, and more cheese until all ingredients are used up.
- Bake: Bake the taco bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Let it cool slightly, then slice and serve with your favorite toppings.
