Flaming Hot Cheetos Hot Dogs Recipe

  • Author: anna
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Description

Experience a spicy twist on classic hot dogs with Flaming Hot Cheetos Hot Dogs. This recipe combines grilled brioche buns and hot dogs with creamy mayonnaise, tangy cotija cheese, and crunchy crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos for a flavorful, crunchy, and fiery snack or meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Hot Dogs

  • 6 hot dogs
  • 6 brioche hot dog buns (preferably grilled)

Toppings

  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons crumbled cotija cheese
  • ⅓ cup crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives or cilantro (or both)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to the highest heat setting. Once heated, reduce the temperature to medium-high, aiming for approximately 450°F to prepare for grilling the hot dogs and buns.
  2. Grill Hot Dogs and Buns: Place the hot dogs and buns on the grill. Rotate the hot dogs frequently to ensure even cooking and develop grill marks. Grill until the hot dogs are slightly charred and heated through, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  3. Assemble the Hot Dogs: Remove the hot dogs from the grill and immediately place each into a grilled brioche bun. Drizzle mayonnaise over the top according to your preference, then sprinkle with crumbled cotija cheese. Follow by adding the crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos and finish with a sprinkle of fresh chopped chives and/or cilantro.
  4. Serve: Serve the Flaming Hot Cheetos Hot Dogs immediately while warm and enjoy the perfect blend of spicy, savory, and crunchy textures.

Notes

  • You can grill the buns alongside the hot dogs for extra flavor and warmth.
  • Adjust the amount of mayonnaise and Flaming Hot Cheetos to your desired spice and creaminess level.
  • Substitute cotija cheese with feta or parmesan if unavailable.
  • For a milder version, use regular crushed cheese puffs or crushed tortilla chips instead of Flaming Hot Cheetos.
