  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1½ teaspoon Salt (kosher salt)
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Small Onion, finely diced
  • 34 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

For the Potatoes:

  • 1 pound Russet Potato, peeled and cubed
  • ½ cup Beef Broth

For Garnish:

  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Parsley (optional, can use green onions, chives, or cilantro)

Instructions

  1. Heat the Oil and Brown the Beef: Heat oil in a skillet, add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Brown the beef without disturbing for 3 minutes.
  2. Cook the Beef: Stir and continue cooking until browned, breaking up large pieces.
  3. Add Onions: Add onions to the beef, cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Include Garlic and Tomato Paste: Add garlic and tomato paste, cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Combine Potatoes and Broth: Add potatoes, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  6. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust salt if needed.
