- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1½ teaspoon Salt (kosher salt)
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Small Onion, finely diced
- 3–4 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
For the Potatoes:
- 1 pound Russet Potato, peeled and cubed
- ½ cup Beef Broth
For Garnish:
- 1 tablespoon Chopped Parsley (optional, can use green onions, chives, or cilantro)
Instructions
- Heat the Oil and Brown the Beef: Heat oil in a skillet, add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Brown the beef without disturbing for 3 minutes.
- Cook the Beef: Stir and continue cooking until browned, breaking up large pieces.
- Add Onions: Add onions to the beef, cook for 3 minutes.
- Include Garlic and Tomato Paste: Add garlic and tomato paste, cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Combine Potatoes and Broth: Add potatoes, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust salt if needed.
