Honey Lemon Vinaigrette Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1–1/2 tablespoons clover honey
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, grated or freshly minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the fresh lemon juice, grated lemon zest, extra-virgin olive oil, clover honey, Dijon mustard, grated garlic, salt, and black pepper to a blender or a mixing bowl.
- Mix the Vinaigrette: Blend the ingredients in a blender for a few seconds until well incorporated, or alternatively whisk the ingredients vigorously in a bowl with a wire whisk, or place all ingredients in a mason jar, seal, and shake vigorously until emulsified.
Notes
- Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust honey amount to taste for more or less sweetness.
- This vinaigrette can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- If the olive oil solidifies when chilled, let it sit at room temperature before use.
