Ingredients
Scale
Sliders
- 12 pack rolls, halved lengthwise (recommend Kings Hawaiian rolls)
- 6 oz ham, thinly sliced
- 5 oz salami, thinly sliced
- 5 oz pepperoni, thinly sliced
- 9 slices provolone cheese
- 1/3 cup pepperoncini, sliced
- 1/3 cup pickled hot cherry peppers, sliced
Butter Mixture
- 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed (fresh recommended)
Serving
- 1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it’s at the right temperature for baking the sliders evenly.
- Assemble the sliders: Lay the bottom halves of the rolls on a baking sheet or pan. Layer the ham slices evenly, followed by the salami, then pepperoni, and top with the provolone cheese slices. Add sliced hot cherry peppers and sliced pepperoncini on top of the cheese. Place the top half of each bun back on the sliders and set aside.
- Prepare the butter mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted salted butter, Italian seasoning, and crushed garlic. Mix well to blend the flavors.
- Brush the sliders: Generously brush the seasoned butter mixture over the top of the assembled sliders, making sure to cover all the nooks and crannies to infuse flavor during baking.
- Bake the sliders: Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for about 30 minutes or until the tops turn golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove the foil and take the sliders out of the oven. Slice them apart and serve immediately with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Using fresh crushed garlic enhances flavor more than jarred garlic.
- Choosing soft rolls like King’s Hawaiian makes the sliders sweet and tender.
- Covering with foil during baking keeps the sliders moist and prevents over-browning.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce to complement the spicy peppers and savory meats.
- Customize by adding sautéed onions or bell peppers if desired.
