Eggs:
- 3 large eggs
Cream Cheese Mixture:
- 3 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 dash salt
Egg White Mixture:
- 1 pinch cream of tartar (preferred but not required)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 300°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
- Separate Eggs: Separate the eggs into separate bowls.
- Mix Cream Cheese: Blend the cream cheese and salt into the yolks until well combined using an electric mixer.
- Whip Egg Whites: Whip the egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff.
- Fold Mixtures: Gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the stiff egg whites.
- Form Rolls: Spoon 6 mounds of the mixture onto the baking pan, flattening each slightly.
- Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, being careful not to overbake.
- Cool and Store: Cool on the pan for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to a rack. Store in a zipper bag to keep soft.
