  • Author: anna
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

A refreshing and bubbly Raspberry Moscato Cocktail featuring fresh raspberries, sweet Moscato wine, and a splash of vodka, topped with sparkling water and garnished with mint for a perfect balance of fruity and effervescent flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruit and Garnish

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Extra raspberries for garnish

Liquids

  • 4 ounces Moscato wine
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda

Other

  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Raspberry Puree: In a small bowl, combine the fresh raspberries and granulated sugar if using, then mash thoroughly with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release juicy raspberry puree.
  2. Strain Puree: For a smoother cocktail, strain the mashed raspberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and obtain a clean puree.
  3. Mix Ingredients: Pour the raspberry puree, Moscato wine, and vodka into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add Ice and Shake: Fill the shaker halfway with ice, seal it securely, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and blend all the flavors well.
  5. Prepare Glasses: Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes to keep the cocktail chilled.
  6. Strain Cocktail: Strain the mixed cocktail evenly into the prepared glasses over the ice.
  7. Add Sparkling Water: Pour ½ cup of sparkling water or club soda into each glass to add a bubbly, refreshing finish.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a few raspberries, then serve immediately and enjoy your light and fruity Raspberry Moscato Cocktail.

Notes

  • Use fresh raspberries for the best flavor and vibrant color.
  • The sugar is optional depending on the sweetness of your Moscato and personal preference.
  • Straining the puree helps avoid raspberry seeds in the cocktail for a smoother drink experience.
  • Adjust the amount of vodka to make the cocktail stronger or lighter as desired.
  • Serve immediately to retain the fizz from the sparkling water.
