Description

These Rotisserie Chicken Hawaiian Sliders are the perfect combination of savory, spicy, and cheesy flavors sandwiched between sweet Hawaiian rolls. Easy to make and great for a party or quick dinner!

Hawaiian Rolls:

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls

Rotisserie Chicken:

  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken shredded

Pepper Jack Cheese:

  • 12 slices pepper jack cheese

Lettuce:

  • 1 cup lettuce shredded

Pickles:

  • ½ cup pickles sliced

Spicy Mayo:

  • ½ cup spicy mayo

Avocado:

  • ¼ cup mashed avocado or guacamole, or sliced avocado

Butter:

  • 1 tbsp butter softened

Butter Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • ½ tbsp dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp poppyseeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare Chicken: Remove all chicken from the bone and skin. Alternatively, use pre-disassembled rotisserie chicken.
  3. Prepare Rolls: Cut Hawaiian rolls in half and place bottoms in a casserole dish.
  4. Add Mayo: Spread spicy mayo on the bottom buns.
  5. Layer Ingredients: Add half of the cheese, mashed avocado, chicken, pickles, and remaining cheese.
  6. Butter Sauce: Mix melted butter, mustard, and poppyseeds. Brush on top buns.
  7. Bake: Cover with foil, bake for 20-25 mins, then uncover and bake for another 3-5 mins until golden.
  8. Serve: Add lettuce for crunch, extra dressing, and enjoy hot or chilled.
