  • Author: anna
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A refreshing and indulgent homemade mocha frappuccino made with strong brewed coffee, milk or cream, chocolate sauce, and vanilla, blended with ice for a smooth and creamy iced coffee treat that’s perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

Mocha Frappuccino Ingredients

  • ¾ cup strong brewed coffee (chilled)
  • ½ cup milk, cream, or a combination
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup or preferred sweetener
  • 23 tablespoons chocolate sauce
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the chilled strong brewed coffee, milk or cream, vanilla extract, maple syrup or your preferred sweetener, chocolate sauce, and a pinch of sea salt (if using) into a blender.
  2. Add Ice: Place 2 cups of ice on top of the liquid ingredients and secure the blender lid tightly.
  3. Blend: Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides to ensure even blending.
  4. Adjust Consistency: Check the thickness of your frappuccino and add more ice for a thicker texture or more milk/coffee for a thinner consistency, then blend again if needed.
  5. Serve: Pour the mocha frappuccino into a glass and serve immediately for the best chilled taste and texture.

Notes

  • Use freshly brewed strong coffee and chill it in advance to avoid melting the ice quickly and diluting the drink.
  • Maple syrup can be substituted with honey, agave, or any other liquid sweetener to suit your taste preferences.
  • Adjust the amount of chocolate sauce depending on how rich and chocolaty you want your frappuccino.
  • The pinch of sea salt is optional but helps to enhance the flavor by balancing the sweetness and chocolate notes.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute milk or cream with almond milk, coconut milk, or other plant-based milks.
