Limes:

  • 3 limes

Lemon:

  • 1 lemon

Hot Water:

  • 3 cups (700ml)

Sweetener:

  • To taste (see notes)

Cold Water:

  • 5 cups (1.18 litres)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Citrus: Remove the ends from the limes and lemon. Cut off the outer peel, discard, and place the fruit in a small bowl.
  2. Blend: In a blender, combine 3 cups of hot water with sweetener. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain: Place a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl. Pour the blended mixture through the strainer.
  4. Combine: Add 5 cups of cold water to the bowl and stir.
  5. Cool: Allow the lemonade to cool to room temperature.
  6. Adjust Sweetness: Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by dissolving additional sweetener in hot water.

Notes

  • You can use raw cane sugar, honey, agave syrup, or any sweetener of your choice.
