Ingredients
Scale
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup egg whites
- 1 large ripe plantain
Dry Ingredients
- 1/2 cup True Nutrition Chocolate Beef Protein powder
- 1 tbsp beet powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup NuNaturals cocoa powder
Toppings
- 1/4 cup The Date Lady Sugar-Free Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s at the right temperature for baking the brownies evenly.
- Blend Ingredients: Add the egg whites, chocolate beef protein powder, ripe plantain, beet powder, baking powder, and cocoa powder to a blender. Blend the mixture until it becomes completely smooth and well combined, ensuring an even batter.
- Prepare the Pan: Line a loose-bottomed baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the blended batter into the pan, spreading it out evenly for consistent thickness.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Sprinkle the sugar-free chocolate chips evenly over the top of the batter to add bursts of chocolate flavor throughout the brownies.
- Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the brownies are set and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
- Cool Completely: Remove the pan from the oven and allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. This helps the brownies to set properly and makes slicing easier.
- Slice and Serve: Once cooled, slice the brownies into 8 bars and serve.
Notes
- Use a ripe plantain to enhance natural sweetness and blendability.
- Ensure the batter is blended until smooth for uniform texture.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
- Feel free to substitute the chocolate chips with any no-added-sugar or sugar-free chocolate of your choice.
- Store leftover brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
